CLS360 Pty. Ltd. Company Launch
The magnificent and hallowed turf of the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) proved to be the perfect venue for the recent Melbourne Company launch of CLS360 Pty. Ltd.
This event marked the culmination of several years of global research seeking a new business venture for two of Australia’s most experienced Organisation and Leadership Development specialists, Quentin Jones and Margherita Larné-Jones.
At the Company celebration, Quentin and Margherita said that when they first toured the MCG as a possible launch venue they could not imagine holding the event anywhere else. “The green is a perfect match with our brand!” said Jones. “And to us, this round iconic Melbourne venue represents tradition, longevity and high performance - all attributes we aspire to associate with CLS360 Pty. Ltd.”
The celebration featured presentations from Quentin and Margherita as well as an insightful and detailed presentation from Circumplex Leadership Scan 360° (CLS360) developers, Patrick Vermeren and Frank Rengelink. The keynote speaker was Adrian Skull, CEO of Yankalilla, South Australia, who said “What I love about the tool is that is asks you to describe your ideal self and compares that with your actual self. What a great place to start a conversation about leadership styles and behaviours.”
All attendees of the launch were presented with a long stemmed green rose as a memento to mark the occasion. Margherita explained the significance of the rose in which the CLS360 has its origins. “In the Netherlands, the Circumplex is well known under the name ‘de Roos van Leary’ (Leary’s rose), which means ‘rose’ or bulls-eye’ in Dutch. Leary originally developed the Circumplex, which is a two-dimensional representation of personality organised around two major axes. We were looking for an elegant gift for guests, with strong meaning, which I think we achieved.”
The CLS360 identifies, measures and changes the full range of leadership interpersonal behaviours. From 360-degree feedback, leaders gain insight into their current leadership behaviours and how they would ideally like to lead. This ‘new edge’ in leadership provides the tools that will empower Australian leaders to create measureable behaviour change linked to improved effectiveness.
